The Rebirth

This was a good week. And a lot has happened. So I'll start from begging. We were driving to this town when we saw what it looked like a Tiger II. So we decided to flank him, but as we got closer we realized this wasn't a Tiger. It didn't have a machine gun in front of the tank, so we were really confused. And the barell of the gun was diffrent, it wasn't regular 10,5 cm, it was 128 mm, which is the caliber we never seen before. So we checked it and it was empty, we thought because it didn't work. So we build a camp in city and I decided to look around, see what I can find. And boy, did I find something. As I was entering the room, a women attacked me and started beating me up. She then realized that I wasn't german and wasn't going to kill her. We started talking and she told me she was a radio-operator in her tank but the tank was destroyed by a Tiger. So as we were talking, artilery strike started. We hided under a desk. It didn't last long, but it did more then it should. Richtofen ran toward me to tell me the worst possible news. The shell hit top of our Firefly and detonated the ammo rack. Our beutifull firefly, lost in ashes. Oh and yeah, her name is Misty. Good name. So she told me that the prototype was fully funtional, and that we could take it. Of course I was against it, but the general told us that enemys are preparing another assault to try to take the town. So we agreed to give the tank a test ride. Luckily, as I mentioned, John learned to drive on German tanks, so it was easier for him to drive this new tank. We got used to it, but a place was empty. Place for Sam. So I suggested to take Misty, she was a radio-operator. Others we're so happy about that, but they gave a chance. After we settled in our positions, we decided to pain this tank, so that we could be reconized, and not mistaken for a Tiger. I got barell of that big ass 128 mm gun, Radley got top, he wrote freedom, John got front, he wrote unite, Richtofen got sides, and he wrote something, I can't remember. I said, in honour of Sam, we keep our tradition, so that he may never be forgoted. We will keep puting circles around barell for every tank we destroy. Misty of course didn't know why we do that, but she ran with it. And boy does this gun fire. You really need to hear it. It sounds fantastic. So wow, this is a big letter. Like I said, a lot has happened.
